After a career spanning 36 years and over 3 million miles, B 63 prepares to run its last 51 miles of revenue service in combination with S 306 from Longwarry to Melbourne. At Melbourne yard B 63 was detached and run to Sth Dynon, its plates removed and put in storage. Yours truly was at the controls and I can report that the old girl was running perfectly on this, her last run. June 2 1988
