A 280 Walker railcar runs the 7.35 am up Wonthaggi service (due at Anderson at 7.57 am) as it crosses J 500 on a down Wonthaggi goods. At the time Anderson had two passenger services to Melbourne on weekdays and two return services. This morning service ran all the way through to Melbourne, other trains ran to Nyora where passengers changed to a through service from Yarram or Leongattha. Sep. 23 1965
