L 1168 crosses Heidelberg Road as it pulls up the steep grade from the APM factory on a Fairfield goods. Apart from the Alamein line, this portion of track from Fairfield to the APM factory was the last part of the outer circle line still in use. The siding was abolished in 1993. photo May 7 1984 .
