In the early 80's a project was carried out to get rid of the level crossing at Tottenham suburban station. The up line had to be moved first as the old up line was on the alignment on the new down line. In this photo trains are using the new up line and the old down line. Work was completed July 1982, the whole project taking about 14 months.
