Upper Ferntree Gully was a change of gauge station from its opening until 1962 when the narrow gauge line from Upper Ferntree Gully to Belgrave was regauged to Broad gauge. Here we see an Na 6 narrow gauge loco at the platform with some narrow gauge passenger cars. The electrified broad gauge became the present day up platform. Photo date 1952
