The Redesdale line left the main Bendigo line at Redesdale Junction which was between Kyneton and Malmsbury. The Redesdale line was closed on July 13 1954. On Nov. 16 1954 Redesdale Junction was disestablished as a double line block post and all points and signals were abolished.
