Forrest was the terminus of a branch line which ran out of Birragurra, near Colac. This is D3 640 on an up train, taken on the Australia day holiday 1957. The Driver was Clarry Kenyon,’now deceased, with Fireman Graham Obrien now of Ballarat (retired)
