A big project like the Ararat to Serviceton CTC project does not get commissioned overnight but is completed gradually. These two diagrams show the progress at Murtoa in 1983 and 1984. The March 1983 diagram was issued when CTC was commissioned (Nov. 11 1983) between Murtoa and Horsham but before the yard at Murtoa was dealt with. At this stage electric staff was still being worked to Lubeck and the yard has been rationalised in preparation for CTC.
